Are you ready to challenge an academic course for credit without enrolling in a class? Our online subject-specific English readiness assessment checks your mastery of English to see if you will be able to understand questions and complete the exam successfully.
For Language Challenges, this process is quite simple as the exam itself is intended to measure how well students meet the outcomes of a course that is a second (not home) language. For Math 10, Math 11 or one of the Science 11 courses, the questions will help determine if the student has already covered the course content.
Students who pass the English Language Readiness Assessment for particular subject are then eligible to purchase and take a Challenge Exam for that particular subject.
Students cannot take the Challenge Exam until passing the Language Readiness Assessment for that particular subject.
The assessment costs $100 and can only be taken one time.
